Remember with Joy Scrapbook Page with Hanky

A pocket or slit in a laminated scrapbook page makes it easy to both display and then remove and use an heirloom hanky. The secret to this very simple scrapbook page is using a background paper that resembles a painting and requires little adornment. This style of paper is available from companies like Kodomo, Inc., Murdock Country Creations, Twelve by 12, and many others. 


Materials:

  • 12” x 12” Banner American laminating pouch

  • QuikFinish laminating machine

  • Scrapbook papers from Kodomo Inc. (www.kodomoinc.com)

  • Real Life stickers from Pebbles, Inc. (www.pebblesinc.com

  • Craft knife, straight edge, cutting mat

  • Family photo(s)

  • Vintage hanky 

Instructions:
 

Step 1: Arrange scrapbook layout as shown or as desired. Laminate.
 
Step 2: .Cut a slit .25” x 4” or whatever size works best for the folded hanky
