Laminated Envelope Templates
By Judi Kauffman
Project of the Month, August 2006

One of my favorite tools in all of paper crafting is the Fit It Volume I CD-ROM for PCs from Red Castle, Inc. With it, I can create envelope and box templates in whatever dimensions I choose, right on my PC. Even though it only takes seconds to print out a new one, when I get a size that I like and use repeatedly, I laminate my template, punch a hole in the top, and hang it on a hook where the batch of templates are out of the way but within easy to reach.

Laminated templates make great gifts for friends who make cards or scrapbooks. Teachers or troop leaders can make laminated templates to use for group activities, too.

If you want to write the dimensions, name of the template, your name, or any other information on the template, do so BEFORE you laminate it. Omit the hole if you plan to store the templates in a folder instead of hanging them.
